The ranch is located on 125 acres, maintaining Tifton and Coastal Bermuda hay.  We keep an average of 300 square bales and 8 round bales of hay each year for our pigs and cattle.  So far with our mild weather, this amount of hay has seen us through most winters.

Our goal is healthy, strong, AMBA registered pigs.  As you can see by the photos, the pigs have excellent markings, have white feet, large ears, and a straight back.  We have all three breeding lines represented in our breeding program.  Breeding pigs live in individual pens in a 3 acre game fence with plenty of shade.

We also maintain a separate pastured herd of up to 25 Meishan pigs which can be bred, and/or processed.  Our staff selects the breeding pairs that show the best traits of the Meishan pig.  The adult pigs like to be friendly but spend the majority of the time sleeping in the shade.  Our pigs are friendly with dogs, chickens, and children.  They are naturally curious.

The boars are selected at 2 weeks old and the gilts at 8 weeks old.  We are happy to deliver up to 200 miles which is safer for the pigs and for us!  The babies can be weaned at 6 weeks and the gilts can accidentally get bred at 11 weeks. Nine months old is the optimum time for breeding.  They commonly produce 9-12 piglets but the litters can be much larger.

I’ll be able to answer a few questions by text to 979-777-7978.  I have a limited amount of time due to the demands of a working ranch.  We do not take reservations for the animals nor do we take deposits.  Payment for the pigs is due in full at delivery.  We do not take credit cards.  We do have a list  of prospective buyers, and go strictly by the list when placing breeding pairs or single pigs.
